Well, i can't list every reason i have, but besides him being a fan of Sensational at some point (and Rob presumably not so much) and the track being a bare aesthetic minimum often attributed to him, he once said something about his minimum requirement to make music which included a sound editing program (Digital Performer i think) and a mic. They aren't doing 'Autechre remix' here by any means, but kinda replicating the method of Sensational as you can hear it on linked LP. Another reason is that Sean personally worked with Kouhei on famous banana telepathic project. So this remix must be a result of Kouhei's intentions, since it's his album.
