Aphex Twin Digitally Recorded Sets?

seconded. it would be nice to have an additional collection of only higher end/ actual soundboard recordings from aphex sets... not that the lo fi handheld tape recorder circa 1994-captured sets aren't charming in their own way, but haha ya know

this is a good live digitally recorded set

You do realize that a lot of those old gigs were recorded the way they were because the equipment at the time was mostly analogue? This was well before the days of smartphones and affordable digital recorders. Also, most artists never did make soundboard recordings since they were live shows of music they (the artists) already had in high quality.

(: In a perfect world, all AFX sets would be high quality soundboard recordings, going through expensive high end boards, and all with track id's lol (although sometimes i prefer the mysteriousness of a lack of track id in live sets). Ivan Smagghe, for one, captures that mysteriousness very well. AFX too, of course.

this one cracked my skull one or two times.

Well, he's played Digeridoo in a LOT of live sets - are you talking about the commercially-released "Live in Cornwall 1990" version?

That was supposedly recorded on a beach in Cornwall with his mates one night; wasn't a actual 'live' set just anyone could get a ticket to...

Sounds to me like an edit of .942947 from AB3, but the resemblance is small.

Almost sure It was recorded at The Bowgie Inn, Crantock. Which is near a beach. I think I was there but many brain cells have died since then..
