Looks like there was a dev update in ipb 3.1... (http://community.invisionpower.com/blog/1174/entry-4573-ipboard-310-dev-update-search-overhaul/) and I also see there's an overhaul due in 4.0, so that's good... I'd personally much rather have that thing fixed than split up "general" topics (non-electronic-music anyway) into their own quiet, spooky compartments.

Yeah, it does really bad on 3 letter words (most search engines that are not Google do).

FYI - we're on IPB 3.4.5, so that overhaul they did in 3.1 didn't do much from the sound of things.

Sorry to interrupt, but did I imagine a thread about electronic-cigarettes this morning or have I been dreaming about WATMM?

Obviously I just used the search feature for 'vape' and 'vaping', but meh.

Joyrex, about the search function... is there any way to add a little google search bar that's set to the forum database? For anyone who doesn't know, the best way to search the site is to go on google and type "site:watmm.com YOURQUERY".

I've thought about setting up a Google Site Search page - I'll look into it and see what's involved in setting it up.
