i don't like either of these guys, but i'd rather watch family vacation then any bill murray comedy, so chevy chase it is.

Why this thread? Well I was reading this website about dog training where the guy wrote that if you're walking your dog and he meets another dog and they both start fighting then it's about the dog trying to prove his loyalty to his owner. Dogs will scrap if they're of similar age, breed, health, ability etc. Reminded me a bit of some of us here on WATMM. And there's a cool guy here with a cool Bill Murray avatar. Then by coincidence after looking up Caddyshack noticed that Bill Murray and Chevy Chase had a fight on the set of SNL. Typical alpha male nonsense over who gets to be the top dog and who gets to be the submissive poodle. Not sure of the full story but Murray described Chase as being 'medium talent'. Brutal one liner! Anyway, they're both well educated men who are quite good in their films. Both play cool characters with witty one liners that always get the girl, though Murray is about 7 years younger. I love hearing stories about rivalries. Would love to hear more gossipy stories about Bill Murray and Chevy Chase. And yes the Invisible Man, that was a tremendous remake.
