It's muddy but I don't feel I contributed to it nor do I want to contribute to it now. Plus, I honestly feel they have a better chance of seeing this here.

Overall a success, but I don't know if WATMM's newly discovered self analysis will be positive or not. I could see it doing good things though.

earlier someone asked if they can PM a track and they replied to just post it in the thread. and then there have been other 'check out this vid' posts, which are just disguised 'listen to my track' posts. i don't think i've seen an as upfront post as salvatorin's can you listen to my track request.

i kind of agree with this assessment, i did it actually in a probably more annoying why by just putting my new album as my sig, lol . You can't get more up front straight forward and to the point than 'can you listen to this track I made'. It's a great track btw

I haven't read all of this thread (or the AAA one, yet), but I just want to say that this has been really great to reveal some personality behind the music. It was getting a bit ridiculous here with Autechre being thought of as some kind of spiritual beings or something, when clearly they're just a couple of guys like us who like fucking around with sounds and putting it out there.

Also, oh my god how many more times are people gonna ask about fold4,wrap5, seriously.

I hope so too - the guys seemed to have enjoyed doing this - it would be great if they popped back in from time to time. I know they have lurked for ages, so perhaps now they'd be more willing to respond (although the fear of that would be any response by them would turn into a new AAA thread, I imagine).
