Affordable Sampler w/o Computer

Back in 2013 when this thread was started I was seeing Kurzweil K2500RS (the rack version with the sampling board factory installed) on ebay in the $350-$500 range all the time (not necessarily affordable but a steal in terms of price/performance), but it looks like that ship has sailed.

Samplers may as well be an mp3 player when you bring them to a gig imo. I'd say the fun is had in the studio with them. I guess you could make more mistakes live with a sampler though.
