Humo I assume you have talked to know exactly what he had in mind, at length with him, but you were actually familiar with his work?

Raes "I know it a bit, but to my ears it is somewhat too commercial. It's the best pop music, so to speak. He sent me the last few months of regular bits of new songs to indicate where he wants to go. Give me an idea But unfortunately for you, I'm not going to share: I do not think he'd appreciate it if I would make our private correspondence public (laughs) . "

too commercial eh, could be more manchester track like stuff hes working on. thats kinda the best pop music

They produce the so called new music in that Foundation, so pop music means anything RDJ has done besides noise tracks.

These works are all by Kristof Lauwers, the creator.

Interestingly, the inquiry for this robot came at March 20th, who recall when the discogs sale for CW started? I call a plot.

edit: my mistake, even earlier

Rephlex negotiated with to lower their asking price to 5,000.00 GBP (around 8,300.00USD)

So seller lowered the price by five thousand bucks to make it precisely 6,000 euro. The record is unplayed. Who wouldn't play an Aphex record? Deliberate fucking plot. Which i have nothing against, of course.

Neither do i, everybody gets what they wanted. Speaking of which, as i was typing this the second of the two mosquitoes that i let in with me when i returned home this evening just flew by me, squashed the motherfucker, now i can relax without wonder where it's gonna stealth bite me.

That's one of the lushest things i've heard, fucking fuck. Aphex is definitely aiming to blow minds.

either moderate lol or top lel

Christ has a point but well it's AFX, i guess it should be more Pierre Bastien and less Metallica with the San Francisco Symphony bullshit.

Complexity (building machines & small robots etc) has served well Pierre Bastien, his records are fantastic.

this dutch man is a true eccentric, and brilliant. speaks 5 languages, reads in many more. codes in assembler. builds fucking robots. only stupid thing he does is smoke a pipe

This prick has obviously never realized that some people make music for themselves first and release it for other reasons. How the fuck can a sequencer put subtle nuances in the playing of live instruments without mechanizing things to automate the sounds or creating an instrument that can be controlled via CV or Midi?

Prog rock is up its arse more because of the 13 minute tracks of pure musical wankery/lyrics about dragons and elves than the technical side of how something was produced... I think its fucking awesome that these guys are literally taking the next step forward from a sequencer controlling a machine synthesizing sound to a sequencer controlling the dynamics and playing of a REAL instrument.

Rich said he likes to be the master of things, this is like playing god with what physical players could do and making it perfect to the most minute detail to what YOU see fit as a composer. Fucking brilliant if used correctly me thinks.

So what you guys are saying is that Richard is getting his share, but also getting the seller's money cuz he is the seller....

You peeps are just now figuring that out?!
