As annoyingly cliche as it is I'd have to say The Beatles.

I'm too embarrassed to name my "number one", but they're well-known on WATMM and happen to be members themselves.

But some of the non-WATMM-featured artists I've grown to like over the years include Funkstörung, El-P, Actress, cLOUDDEAD, Sun Araw, Brothomstates, Die Antwoord, Sonic Sum, Yasiin Bey, Robert Glasper, Gescom, Push Button Objects, etc.

For my alltime fave's I found out I have certain (obvious) demands: they should at least have released a shitload of albums, I should still be obsessed with it after 10 years of intensive listening, should have an relatively large impact on my taste/life and I'm trying to collect everything from them.

And to some extent Squarepusher, Frank Zappa (but I stopped collecting, I just gave up), Darkthrone (but I haven't listened to them in ages), Ulver (pretty meh since late 00's) and Fela Kuti (but I only discovered his stuff about 2 years ago, but all the other 'demands' are a massive double check).
