Stone cold classic IMO. Agree on Leyland Kirby's efforts from this year though, both cracking releases especially the 40 tracks on his 40th birthday. I'm really looking forward to new TDE stuff: Ab-soul, Jay Rock, Kendrick. I like Oxymoron more than some. Isaiah Rashad is great. Joey Bada$$ has an album in the fall, Action Bronson has one coming out. Those Flatbush Zombies singles are sick. The Underachievers have one coming out this year and the singles were nice. Theres definitely more I'm missing and that's just that particular niche. Piñata was bound to be one of my favorites and it delivered. Smoke DZA's Dream.Zone.Achieve has some sick production, as does Curren$y's Drive-In Theater. Good times all around. And I still think this is just one corner of the hip hop world. Even if you're put off by the whole Chicago drill thing, Lil Herb's mixtape Welcome to Fazoland is really solid. Way more lyrical than most Chicago rappers I've heard and it bumps.
