How long of a delay is that?

Ok, I thought it was supposed to be on in December 2017 originally.

was gonna be a may release.

im ok with the wait tbh. the initial run from ep7 to ep8 seemed kind of short and worrying.

I've sent Nasa a query RE the "Sun". Should hear back in 10-15 business days.

What has happened over the years is "Sun" has been used by the layman to mean just that, a star at the center of a planetary system.

Edit: deece amount of irony that I worded that sentence so poorly lol

This means the gap between EP8 and Han Solo will only be 5 months, they had to that short stint somewhere in the release schedule to get back to a May timeslot

Also, it's rumoured Rian Johnson (director) is doing "extensive rewrites" - I hope Episode VII wasn't a fluke...

hopefully that gives them time to kick the jurassic world director by then... michael bay would be a good choice imo

I doubit it's an extensive rewrite. Abrams already said a while ago after reading Johnson's scipt that he wished he was directing the sequel. Not sure it would be in need of a rewrite after that.
