I've seen in now twice, once on opening night in IMAX 3D which was shitty and I was also nervous about lone gunmen so i couldn't focus.

nothing to do with star wars but i often get intrusive thoughts about somebody shooting up the place when I'm in the cinema. does this mean the terrorists have won?

i agree with the rest of what you said too.

I instantly thought of Jihadists when you mentioned Terrorists. Which is shit, as most of the cinema shootings in America have not been religiously motivated at all.

They've been dissociative medication motivated, coupled with gun free zone motivated, oh and false flag/patsy agent provocateur motivated too.

On a more positive note...

The Force Awakens is now the US highest-grossing movie ever, beating Avatar's 760 million (which took it 34 weeks to achieve) in a mere 20 days.

Up next: Avatar's 2.76 billion international haul, of which The Force Awakens is already at 1.54 billion.

To note: The Force Awakens opens in China this Sunday, January 9th.

Scrooge Mcduck, must be very dense I've decided. When little I used to buy his comics, not really thinking about the physics behind his money bathing habit, but then later it seemed ridiculous even dangerous when I watched him do it. Now though, I've found a way to have my cake and eat it.

This actually connects (possibly) back with the movie in question...there have been multiple film's plots that interwebz theorists have claimed were stolen from the comics in question. I wonder if EP VII falls into this category as well...

Staggering how much moolah one piece of entertainment can't rake in. Priorities are fucked up, yo.

Carl Barks was amazing, and his legacy is under appreciated imO. Although people can only like so many things I spose and it was so long ago. Like if you asked people about the golden age of illustration they would not know what you were talking about, so long ago. Then again it happened concurrently with the degeneration in the high arts, so much talent and innovation in the commercial realm, such a contraction of ability in the high arts. heh. Sorry waffling.

I really enjoyed the new movie. Tons of action, but not as much room to breathe. It made me more impressed at the Star Wars universe being created from scratch 40 years ago.

I think I prefer THX1138, I tend to watch it on mute while listening to teh iddems though, so maybe that's why.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.
