With the badger thing having the old warp logo, MFM would make a lot of sense. Also fits in with the time period, because that badger thing reminds me of the 'On' video aesthetic. Also, joyrex avatar. Maybe it's nothing, idk. I'm already happy as a pig in shit with this syro release, more imminent shit would make my millennium.

Picked up the 3xLP and CD today, my local record store was up to its old tricks again.

'Do not pre-order' strategy paid off in the end, although joke's on me, I'll have paid for three copies including the incoming jp CD.

I was going to give this album a 5/5 or a 10/10 or a 1/1 but I realized it wasn't innovative and didn't change music forever as we know it for about six months so I decided to give it a 0/14 since the lack of innovation somehow preys upon my enjoyment of the fucking frequencies that are coming out of the speakers.

I'll give it an 8/10. That's the curse of being someone as famous and "original" like him. People expect to see something new and shit like that, and when he doesn't do it, people gets angry. ;_;

This is exactly what he was talking about in that last interview. People aren't gonna look at Syro as just music, they're gonna look at it as the next Aphex Twin album has done crazy experimental innovative stuff in the past.

If Richard had never released any music up until now there's be a far far different view.

As someone who isn't a huge fan of RDJ, this album is absolutely awesome. Worth the wait.

it doesn't make any sense. If they want to hear more music they should drop such a dumb critique immediately. Do they want him to release the 'best' 13 tracks he's made in the past decade once a decade? I mean He could do that, but I'd like to hear more personally. I want to hear anything he's willing to let us hear.

If these people don't drop this innovation shit, then I want them to start applying it to everyone. Where is Taylor Swift 'innovating'?
