incredible. I think it could have been more cohesive as an album, but i'm not complaining.

So when can there be Youtube videos uploaded so I can share this on social media? I gotta get some justification for all these years of me talking about how good it's going to be.

has anyone noticed that circlont14 is really, REALLY bogdan raczynski like?

Only given it a couple of listens since it arrived this morning. Pretty heavy going for the most part, I suppose I've always liked the fact that his past records alternate between relatively 'light'/'melody-driven' tracks and more hectic ones, whereas this is pretty dense start to finish. Wouldn't have minded an Alberto Balsalm or a Fingerbib in there, or some more piano stuff maybe. More stuff that's straight up heart-string tugging. But that's my taste through and through.

What is there, however, is wonderful. Not a bad track on there... produk 29, syro and aisatsana are the three that really stood out to me so far, but definitely solid start to finish. I love the gradual change in mood on the title track, brilliantly done.

Going to take a lot of listens to properly get my head around it, I think. Which is going to be difficult alongside the new FSOL and the recent / forthcoming stuff from Opal Tapes and a bunch of other things I've recently bought... too much music, not enough time!

It's really nice. I got stopped on the street by a girl looking for people to sponsor kids in developing countries, donate some $, write letters back and forth so I did it a little bit out of the kindness of my own heart and a little bit so I could tell an 11 year old kid from Ghana about aphex.

Worked for me a couple of days ago.... probably quite busy at the moment i guess?! :)

Got home from a party, sat down behind the pc, Syro download available immediately. Finally listening at home now :)

Are the bleep downloads only available for people who ordered vinyl, or people in certain time zones, or ...?

I pre-ordered syro CD from japan, but also pre-ordered mp3s from bleep (happy to give rdj extra money). However, bleep isn't letting me download the whole album.

Downloaded (legally)! Listening for the first time having avoided leaks and other dangers...

While I'm loving this album and looking forward to what rdj's got in store for future releases, I'm far more excited to hear the bootlegs of the new ae live set :p

I really can't wait for the more experimental albums he has in the pipelines. SYRO is nice but its just dance music. I want some shit I can listen to on my own and zone the fuck out or go mental to.

Listening to drukqs after SYRO is just like daayuuum this some next level shit. The mental beats r way less cluttered and have more interesting sounds n shit... and they seem to progress nicer. And the piano trax on drukqs r fucking boss.. they balance the mentalness with calmness perfectly. The anastasia track is way too minimal for my taste.. keen as fk to hear more piano works tho.. a whole album wud b legit.

I kinda reckon he just threw together his most dancey tracks together for SYRO and didn't put too much effort in to how the album wud progress. I'm glad he says he's done with this sound now.. not that i don't like it, it's great dance music, but im keen as fk for shit like Icct Hedral or On 28 mix or whatever... shit that i can zone out to and b taken somewhere else. True IDM stylez. Bring on Eznzea and Xbpi!!
