At about 34 seconds there a sample that sounds like it belongs with the porn/fantasia sample (a coming out party? Etc) I doubt afx'd go back to the well or use something so similar. Could be wrong though. Still sounds fake, too much 8bit noodling.

heres my 2 cents...it's been so long since Richard has blown my mind, I think we're hoping for the impossible, or the possimpible. I want him to move electronic music forward again like no one else does. He's probly constructed & reconstructed this album over & over to get it his way. I like the reddit description of more intense as it goes. If he's still stuck on dnb after 20 years...well I'll be a little let down. So many people have aped his sound, he needs to serve them. I'd be surprised if it was dnb type stuff. Drukqs -> Analord seemed to be somewhat of a starting afresh reset button, and The Tuss and then the live tracks seem to be taking that sound and developing it further and further, so I would imagine we'll have a continuation of that.

The whole fakes thing is pretty funny, most of them sound like what people who aren't massively into electronic music think Aphex sounds like. "It's fast and has some weird complex bits, it must be Aphex Twin, nobody else makes music that weird!" type stuff.

Why do we all need him to blow our minds and "move music forward"? In the '90's we were not talking about new Aphex releases in this way. They came out and they were great. This will come out and it will probably also be great. Who needs anymore than that?
