First dedicated drum machine was a boss dr 202. I believe that Dr. Sample was my second. Well shoot, if that counts, then it was my first! I never used it for one shots though... modey
The sounds are pretty great, especially if you get the HR-16B, which has the "pop" and "puh" sounds used in the Seinfeld theme as well as a bunch of ridiculous late 80s sounds. The sequencer is pretty high resolution (it's pretty similar to the MMT-8 which Autechre used back in the mid 90s I think) but there is almost no visual representation of what's in the sequence. I think there is some way to program it like a step sequencer but I do not get along with that style of sequencer at all.. This is all I ever managed to get out of it, hahah Your browser does not support the HTML5 audio tag http://pselodux.com/collab/test.mp3 Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide modey's signature Hide all signatures youtube | bandcamp | soundcloud | twitter | facebook 0F.digital Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/85003-my-first-drum-machine/page/4/#findComment-2431483 Share on other sites
