Sounds like a remix competition to win a piece of gear autographed by Rich & the eznzea demo. Gonna be all kinds of muthas coming out of the woodwork. Got's to dust off my bass & my tascam 4-trk & have my kids brushing up on Russian to add the vocals.

It's going to suck if it's a WATMM members only remix comp, you better open it to the general public or at least make registrations free again for a while, most people can't be bothered to pay for a forum. I would like to hear as much tracks as possible if it's a remix competition, and this limits this from happening.

Could you really sit through 5000+ not great remixes, mostly shit, just to find the few that are amazing?

I assumed everyone in here makes music (it's in the name) and there are a hell of alot of members and most just lurk.

This is my ultimate prediction about which everyone will care

Aphex will digitalize all his synthesisers and upload them to WATMM for everyone to use- hence the need for extra bandwidth

It can be a full time volunteer job to predict what an active artist is going to do next, speculate about his ancient history, and gossip about what they're doing now.

If they can't be bothered to pay, then they obviously don't care enough to support the site bringing it to them. Bandwidth isn't free, nor is hosting. Paying keeps ads off WATMM, so unless you'd prefer that...

And it's NOT a remix competition of any sort, so try again.
