I actually think that as fans we're quite a patient lot. I mean, if we didn't know about anything "imminent" we'd be over the moon with Syro and Syrobonkers, and that would be that.

However, throw in the "imminent shit", and we have yet something else to get excited about so we've been at an excited peak for months now, and like a child on Xmas_Evet10 we're ready to explode... only to be told that Xmas has been postponed an "indefinite ammount of time". Haha

Actually, i wonder if anyone has actually exploded? Maybe doctors willl coin the term "Aphex Expectancy Syndrome", where people are on the excited brink too long and explode in a burst of modular synth noise!

I predict this announcement taking place on the day after Half-Life 3 is confirmed which, coincidentally, is also the day before Weezer releases a good album.

From my experience, no, good things don't come to those who wait. It's an awful expression.

Not if you're waiting for bread to rise, and then for it to be knocked down, and let rise again, and then one must of course spend more time waiting whilst it bakes.

clearly he's looking at it from the perspective that you shouldn't sit around doing nothing, waiting for something to occur in your life, things along this line. Which is cool, i just felt like illustrating that that maxim probably meant to refer to the concept that to create something good, that takes time.

Of course this whole thing may now devolve into an argument about what to wait actually means in the same sad way the that argument over bored did. (well that argument was mostly other people not accepting or even realising that i held my own clearly defined set of parameters, which were explained, through which i was was using the term to illustrate my position on my use of that term. Some people were just angry that i didn't agree with them, without looking at the bigger picture and understanding what was being said. Kind of why i pointed out what i did in the above paragraph, to nip any futile moanating in the bud. Singular things can be looked at in multiple ways that don't necessarily align with one another, and each thread in and of itself is not incorrect and that's ok.)

Finding it quite surreal that, as far as I can tell, we've basically been told what the new shit actually is by two people directly involved in sorting out the new shit - and for some reason people are still convinced it's going to be music or some kind of Christmas calendar.
