Maybe it was a bit tooo recognizable? He might be trying to stay a bit on the low. Even a casual fan would immediately recognize that one. (just a guess as to why)

Surely RDJ owns the copyrights to his own songs, but Warp might have exclusive distribution rights to certain ones, and that language might reach to alternative versions too.

You know Warp is just banging on his door, begging him to put out official albums with this music.

Do Warp hold the copyright to unreleased mixes? Or do they actually own the copyright but it just didn't come out on the ep/lp?

The way I understand most record contracts, I'd more quickly assume it to be the other way around.

It really depends on the contract. Either case is possible.
