I just want plinkyplonk remastered

I'd rather him spend his time uploading more tracks rather than remastering the ones that are already out.

Because the tracks will be retransfered from the original DATs and then remastered to ensure the highest quality these tracks deserve to be heard in? It would also be pressed on vinyl.

same here. i like the whole uploading thing much more!

I'd prefer more tunes, though a physical release of a nice box set with some interesting archive photos etc would be awesome

A lot of people's favourites sound pretty good anyway and don't need too much cleaning up, a lot of the older stuff def needs a slight polish though

I'd like to hear some of my favs remastered, which is the main reason I like the idea of some kind of release. This is of course after he's done uploading. I imagine he will say when he's done seeing as he's been so verbal about his plans recently.

It's pretty hard to pick tracks as it often took years to get into some of the tunes. By voting them only the most accessible ones will make it but that's not what afx is about

Yeeeah it's a tough one. Tracks having different recording quality doesn't help either (eg. Hearing bambi's eq job on

Bellbrk sounded like a completely different track.

vinyls of some of this would be great. would definitely buy.

in the meantime, how about making the recent batch download enabled at 320s? (you too MikeP...) :P

I'd agree with this - crack on with the uploads till your finished - step away for a while and let the most popular tracks rise to to the top - then if you have the time and inclination tweak a few for release.

Because people were asking for it, pretty sure in earlier comments he said would rather work on new music than master this.

Agreed. Burn your own best of cd. Print out an album cover. Place in jewel case. Enjoy. If you want vinyl, get a dub plate made. There are plenty of websit's for that.

Listen, if this turns into a properly mastered release I'll be as happy as the next guy. But I would have MUCH PREFERRED user18081979 to just keep uploading tunes, and making them downloadable when he feels like it. *Edit* maybe he still will. Best of both worlds would be nice
