I think i understand what you're trying to say (like you can kind of tell how this track has inluenced rdj), but i must say it's a bit odd to say that a track has an aphex sound even though it was released in 88. The reverse should be closer to the truth: that early aphex tracks had a juan atkins sound in some aspects.
