man.. it's a shame there's not a bunch of teenagers in there to walk up to this dude and ask him wtf he is doing then when he answers they tell him he's a fag or something because that's what they'd do.. or they'd call him a retard or some other word we're not supposed to say any more and it would be fitting. just tidy.

edit: tidy meaning that would be some american icing for sure to top of the cake.

haha nice.

that article sure is talking about the suit by a former producer a lot...i'm assuming the implication is it's related to that far more than anything else even if they can't say as much on record. but who knows. i'm here for the drama.

More recently, Carlson’s staff culture had come under scrutiny, after a former booker for his show sued Fox News for discrimination, claiming that she endured sexist treatment while working for him, and messages revealed in the lawsuit showed Carlson referring to Sidney Powell, a female attorney affiliated with Trump, as a “c---.”

But Carlson’s comments about Fox management, as revealed in the Dominion case, also played a role in his departure, a person familiar with the company’s thinking told The Post.

Dozens of communications from Carlson and other Fox personnel remain out of public view, redacted at the request of Fox attorneys, but have been seen by top Fox executives. Others generated headlines when they were released this year with Dominion’s legal filings.

“Do the executives understand how much credibility and trust we’ve lost with our audience?” Carlson wrote to a colleague in a message a day after Fox, like other media outlets, called the election for Joe Biden. It was a sentiment echoed by others at Fox in the fall of 2020, when even network officials who disbelieved Trump’s election-fraud conspiracy theories fretted that countering them strongly would alienate their conservative viewers.

In another message, Carlson referred to management with an expletive: “Those f-----s are destroying our credibility.” He later wrote: “A combination of incompetent liberals and top leadership with too much pride to back down is what’s happening.”

Tucker Carlson is out at Fox News after Dominion lawsuit disclosures - The Washington Post

sounds like the head inmate thought he could run the asylum. good to see a massive ego maniac like that get reality checked... but I have no doubt he will slither away and pop up again with his own Bannon style internet show. he created his own brand at FN, and now he has millions of red hat zombies addicted to the hatred/lies he promotes. I doubt this firing will cause him to stop trolling with all the stupid crap that is fueling the downfall of modern American society.

Ettore Lacchei, 79, was arrested Tuesday after a two-week investigation.

In a press release, the sheriff's department said that Lacchei had "various perceived grievances" with Martys.

A neighbor of both men confirmed that history to Chicago ABC station WLS, alleging that Lacchei had pulled a gun on Martys at least once before.

recent court challenge to NYC gun law that went to the supreme court... clarence thomas' argument was, more or less, that there's a lot of crazy people with guns so everyone should be able to own a gun... so making it harder for people to get guns means they cant protect themselves from the crazy people with guns.

I meet a guy from Los Angeles today walked passed me in the park and he said it has been a bad place there for long time filled with homeless people and drug addicts etc..

Is it all mostly because of those blues maybe? (Fentanyl pills) that is stronger and get you hooked much faster than heroine and very cheap also.

I guess USA is not that cool country anymore which is kinda sad

also, 100+ children working in meat packing plants across 8 states. all linked to one company. hmmm..

From stakeouts to warrants: How federal investigators found more than 100 children cleaning slaughterhouses

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/government-investigation-into-slaughterhouse-cleaning-company-that-hired-children-60-minutes-transcript-2023-05-07/

largest hedge fund in the world is partial investor in the company... of course. they said they did due diligence when investing and didn't find anything wrong. some reporters staked out a parking lot and watched a shift change and that's all it took to find that children were working there.

  Quote

So, it was a shock in 2022 to learn that an American company, owned by a Wall Street firm, sent children as young as 13 to work in slaughterhouses. The disgrace was more disturbing because the company, PSSI, is vital to national food safety and its owner, Blackstone, claims to be a model of management. Both companies say they had no idea they employed children in eight states. But it was obvious to teachers in Grand Island, Nebraska who noticed acid burns on a child.

In our story, you will see only two photos of children working in a slaughterhouse. Because of privacy, two, with obscured faces, are all the U.S. Department of Labor would give us. But two may be enough. Their hard hats read "PSSI" for Packers Sanitation Services Incorporated-- the nation's leading slaughterhouse cleaning service with 15,000 workers, in 432 plants, taking in more than a billion dollars a year. Not, it seemed, a likely abuser of children.

^that truly is America and not just the greed of the business in particular. from the article:

  Quote

Parents purchased false identities. Children were coached to lie. But it was up to PSSI to ensure its operations didn't create a market for child labor. In its defense, a top PSSI official told us, off camera, "[We] own this." "We know we made some mistakes." "It's inexcusable." PSSI now says it has fired more than three dozen local managers.
