^^^ heard the deal w/this.. apparently the girls team is an "elite" class of team and they are part of this other league some times just because they need gym space so they play lesser talented teams just to be able to play. it's long been an unwritten rule that if an "elite" team plays against the lesser teams in a tournament they can't have trophies even if it's a girls team.

Agree, but knowing how these big companies work, they've probably borrowed / mortgaged against their projected sales which included this $1b chunk so to them they might realize a loss greater than the production cost if they cannot sell them at what they projected (which makes me lol).
