The bunch of reps that are blocking McCarthy, like Matt Gaetz and Scott Perry, make me believe they demand some kind of immunity because of some legal issues they might be dealing with. There’s no talk about this in the media, as far as im aware of, but i dont believe for a second that whats out in public is a good representation of what is actually taking place behind closed doors. In the media its about power. But to me it starts to make way more sense if a bunch of these idiots are actually trying anything to get out of a bunch of investigations.

I heard an interview this morning on WNYC with some house Republican (forget who), and he basically said that the people holding this up are angling for committee assignments (and this is not the time to do that sort of thing) and/or just interested in generating chaos.  Lol.

Honestly, this is what they fucking get when their whole ideology (conservatism) is based on selfishness.  They can't even work together for anything without saying, "what's in it for me?".
