So sad.

Have been blissfully ruminating in Blade Runners OST last days.

This is more of a behind the scenes famous person but Colin Cantwell passed away. He was the original creator of the iconic Star Wars vehicles, having drafted them and made kitbashed models for Lucas very early on in pre-production. 

He also worked on 2001 Space Odyssey and Wargames and consulted for computer companies among other things. He was fairly obscure and pretty much a footnote in Star Wars fan knowledge until he auctioned off some of his original models and concept paintings in 2014. Although it was belated recognition he travelled to many fan events and did some interviews in his twilight years. 

RIP Ray Liotta.

Among my all time faves, saw them on the Music for the Masses tour when I was 13. 

Fuck dude. 2 big ones in the same day. Goodfellas will always remain one of my all-time favorite movies, largely thanks to liotta. 
I often think of him in this more obscure one from around the same era. At the time, Amadeus was one of my favorites. Looking back on it, it didn’t exactly age well but it still left it’s mark on me…
