thinking about also going to the boston date. last time i went the paradise rock club i was able to park in the nearby bu parking lot. that was years ago and i remember the parking situation being shitty in that area. so i'm just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for parking lots near the venue.thx

Heh. ambermonk and I are going to spend ~20 hours in the car to follow them around for the PNW dates, and you even have the chance for a personal meeting? 0th world problems, breh.

And I'm flying in beforehand from over 1500 miles north, on a flight I booked four months ago. That's how dedicated we are

I'll be at the Austin show - this will be my 3rd time seeing them in ATX. Last time (2004?) I loaned Cygnus my sharpie so Rob could sign an autograph for him. Now he's touring with them! Nice work man.

Been a fan of watmm for awhile now, and have spent many hours reading through threads. usually ones about æ. thought that I'd finally join up and post. I'll be at the Metro show in Chi if anyone would like to meet. Also, I've never been to the Metro so if anyone that has could tell about their experiences with the venue that would be cool.

it's a great venue. it also has the Smart Bar in the basement which usually puts on some pretty good acts as well. I saw moritz von oswald of basic channel play there a few months back

That's good to hear. I'm quite looking forward to this. I first got into Autechre in the spring of 2014, so I'm a newcomber and haven't ever seen them live before. They've quickly become one of my all time favourites though. And yeah, I've heard that Metro is connected to Smart Bar. I'm from Milwaukee and a lot of my DJ friends go down to Smart Bar for gigs. Haven't ever made the trip myself. I invited a bunch of my friends but the Tuesday night in Chicago aspect pretty much results in a 'no.' Will be cool to meet other æ fans tho. I wonder how many people will show up.

This year and last year they didn't have any merchandise. At least, at the two gigs I was at. At least, if I haven't missed the booth where they sold it (good to fair chance).
