from noise, recoloured and blurred a little in photoshop in the middle of the process, many passes though. pretty nice actually

thats really cool it can get all that from noise. I wonder how much of it is basing the 'patterns' off of jpeg artifact, like if you ran a TIFF or uncompressed image format through it i wonder if it would pick up the same type of patterns

ive tried and havent noticed much difference between 9/10+ jpgs and uncompressed pngs. I am doing them at 1080p or higher. a low quality jpeg would yield different results, yes
