Didn’t like the results with a live trace and didn’t have any luck tracking down the font. Just recreated since not too complex.

 

Uses the same block font the Hollywood sign uses...

TDR probably made the letters themselves, specially for the poster. They did it on that one autechre poster as well.

Leaning towards a custom/altered or hybrid.

It is very similar to the Hollywood sign.

Both scenarios could of been a combination of multiple fonts.

The Y does indicate they're not completely identical.
