I can download music far faster than I ever did way back as a kiddywink, plus order cds/books pretty cheap. And watch things on the internet immediately, whenever. What's wrong with the internet, exactly?

I hate camwhores

To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

Reminds me of an acquaintance who said to me: "Man, I just started using Tumblr... Tumblr is filthy!"

I said: "My wall isn't.... what exactly have you been searching for?"

"Errrrr....."

society has become too cynical to dig itself out of this rut it has dug itself into.

words of wisdom here

Anyone remember image filenames representing content? cat-licks-feet.jpg is now HjsbOi657-jgsbJda.jpg

That's the downfall of tech right there. Eventually nothing will visually represent what it's supposed to, so the next Aphex Twin album will have album art that says "Miley Cyrus" with her photo, and when you buy a new TV, it might be a toaster oven inside the box.

Random image filenames is a test by the Irunimarley to see how far they can fuck up our organization skills. Obviously nobody cares, so we're fucked.

It's better to link a pic to someone called ufufughufhYhdh505.png, instead of really-funny-thing-this-cat-jumps-out-of-aguys-mouth-its-really-funny.jpg, because then the receiver will know what to expect and will not be so surprised to suddenly see a pic of a cat jumping out of a guys mouth. And s/he will feel forced to find it funny because the filename said so.

Sorry, I am Pro asJHDj45gdh-5241kzijdfjn.png. Maybe one day the iodGFGj7jd-pFdof541ists and the funny-dog-jumps-out-of-guys-feet.jpegists will find unity on a common ground. Like guy-ahDzs454-does-Jfh9d-mouth-IZjd-cat.jpeg

Made programming this a bit easier for me though:

omg it's imgur!

Keep clicking the button until something appears... IMPORTANT WARNING - As it's completely random, there's a definite possibility of NSFW material appearing. DONT try this at work.

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

refreshed that about ten times, got this every time:

Aye, unfortunately you can get a run of those - I tried to work out how to make a script that would keep refreshing it until that image wasn't shown but it was way above my programming prowess !

Just got this beast of a .gif first time .....

Ooh don't know why I didn't think of this before, tonight I'll do something like (but with real code):

if (filesize ($filename )== [whatever that error message file size is] then (refresh page)

(or I'll maybe swap filesize for md5 hash on the off chance there's other pictures with the same number of bytes)

She posts links on her Facebook page about missing kids from a very far location (which already has no impact whatsoever), and if you check the original page she shared, the kid has been found a long time ago.

Even if the missing person post was recent, don't share it. You have no idea if the person has gone into hiding for good reason and/or if the person who put out the original post wants to do something awful to them. If for some reason you have seen a missing person in one of those posts, contact the POLICE, not the person on Facebook looking for them.
