'twas interesting to demo this according to requests by persons who aren't familiar with the drum machine.. someone asked: how fast can it go, then we made a 600bpm granular-sounding random pattern with the retrig stuff.... good times In a lot of ways I could see it being more useful than the functionality inside the current version of Overbridge for actually making drum patterns. I feel like Overbridge's strong suit is editing the Kits and the connectivity. Does it contain parameter lock functionality? kinski
nord drum and volca beats. nord drum is simply amazing. i also sampled my (now sold) dr110 and dr55 and use them in ableton and electribe sampler. i love drum machines. i wish there weren't so many roland trx0x clones and people actually tried to do something else (like nord) because its just so boring to listen to the same faux 808 snare and hh. i used to have a yamaha rx11 but it was just terrible, although i did enjoy the individual outputs and used them as triggers. Nord drum 1 or 2? The ONLY thing I'd change about it is have 6 outputs instead of trigger inputs.
