have been working on incorporating more step parameters, it can fully program retrigs now which is better than I thought it would be...

this was also the feature the supercollider people liked the most..

'twas interesting to demo this according to requests by persons who aren't familiar with the drum machine..

someone asked: how fast can it go, then we made a 600bpm granular-sounding random pattern with the retrig stuff....

In a lot of ways I could see it being more useful than the functionality inside the current version of Overbridge for actually making drum patterns. I feel like Overbridge's strong suit is editing the Kits and the connectivity. Does it contain parameter lock functionality?

i do have a bunch of toy stuff though. I have this and the regular version sounds almost like the circuit bent one. like that gabba kick is exactly how mine sounds minus the stuttering

nord drum and volca beats. nord drum is simply amazing. i also sampled my (now sold) dr110 and dr55 and use them in ableton and electribe sampler. i love drum machines. i wish there weren't so many roland trx0x clones and people actually tried to do something else (like nord) because its just so boring to listen to the same faux 808 snare and hh.

i used to have a yamaha rx11 but it was just terrible, although i did enjoy the individual outputs and used them as triggers.

Nord drum 1 or 2?

The ONLY thing I'd change about it is have 6 outputs instead of trigger inputs. So badly want to multi track record my jams

I tend to pan the kick full left and everything else hard right and bring the two sides in on mono channels so i can at least process the kick in isolation.

Yeah, I'm just too OCD about it... Everything gets recorded seperately.

Just been playing with chromatic mode on the nord drum 2... amazing! cant wait to upgrade my midi solution so i can start throwing CC at it as well!

Such a great unit! CC is super fun. I use my Machinedrum to sequence the ND2 and you can plock the CCs... So good.

I would love to get hold of a Nord Drum 2 some time.

Saw this done in one of the rare ND2 vids on youtube, got some great techno vibes.
