Some good stuff this year.

But I found more great music being released through EPs and bandcamp rather than through full albums (sign of the times I guess).

Great year for EPs / 12" singles though, more so than in the past few years.

Last year I struggled to form a top 10 albums because there was so much stuff; this year there may not be enough candidates.

Well it has a bit of everything, from his very early stuff onwards, but there is certainly a few albums worth of great stuff in there overall and I have only heard around 3/4 of it. Like you say there is too much to get through and digest this year, especially with the massive soundcloud dumps.

Most of my fave braindance releases this year are series rather than stand alone releases: AE_LIVE, Colundi sequence, EODS, AFX soundcloud, Legowelts Nightwind releases and I also discovered the Sensate Focus series this year too although that doesn't count obviously.
