I haven't heard everything that I want to hear yet, so I'm not quite ready to make this list, but here's part of it. I'm PRETTY SURE #1 is:

1. Squarepusher - Damogen Furies

Holly Herndon - Platform

Blackalicious - Imani Vol. 1

Modest Mouse - Strangers to Ourselves

BADBADNOTGOOD and Ghostface Killah - Sour Soul

Jlin - Dark Energy

Cannibal Ox - Blade of the Ronin

Bjork - Vulnicura

AFX - Orphaned Deejay Selek 2006-08
Aphex Twin - MARCHROMT30a Edit 2b 96
Clark - Flame Rave

Biberkof's EP is quite fantastic, love it to bits. I must say I've been disappointed by Kuedo's though. Not that I want Severant 2, but still, Assertion of... isn't as exciting to my ears as hmmm his µ20 track (for example). I guess I have insanely high expectations for his KNIVES imprint.

re: Tame Impala's Currents: some killer tracks in that LP, but I barely ever listen to the record (while I love Lonerism and InnerSpeaker).

INPO including EP's

Deerhunter - Fading Frontier

Protomartyr - The Agent Intellect

Four Tet - Morning/Evening

Squarepusher - DF

Autechre - Live

AFX - Umil 25-01

Zomby - Lets Jam

Blanck Mass - Dumb Flesh

And OPN Garden of Delete gets better and better the more I play it,

Missed an album from my list that was released this year.

The Orb - History Of The Future Part 2

Listening to it recently and it made me realise that they still make plenty of good music, even if it's not quite up there with the early stuff.

Top Tops:

The Orb - Moonbuilding 2703 AD

AFX - everything

CN/EOD - everything

Kerrier District - 4

Aleksi Perala - Colundi Sequences

Squarepusher - Damogen Furies

Autechre - AE_LIVE

BADBADNOTGOOD & Ghostface Killah - Sour Soul

Jim O'Rourke - Simple Songs

Frank Zappa - Roxy The Movie (Soundtrack)

Sunken Foal - Friday Syndrome Vol. 3

Cylob - The Quantum Loonyverse

Honourable Mentions:

Tame Impala - Currents

Ceephax - Charismatic Integrity Slam

Holly Herndon - Platform

NICKELUS F & SHAWN KEMP - TRICK DICE

Kamasi Washington - The Epic

Four Tet - Morning/Evening

Donnacha Costello - Love From Dust / Stay Perfectly Still

Venetian Snares - Thank You For Your Consideration

Joanna Newsom - Divers

Thundercat - The Beyond - Where the Giants Roam

Helen - The Original Faces

Luke Vibert - Bizarster

Oneohtrix Point Never - Garden of Delete

Floating Points - Elaenia

There's a load of stuff I haven't managed to get through as well, so probably a few things that should be on here that I've left out.

Edited by caze

Definitely adding that Zappa Roxy gig to the list, released over 40 years late and still didn't let down (anything but). I also still have to check out the Floating Points and Kamasi Washington albums as they might be a great contender for making my list too :) (based on hearing just a track or two of both).

Also like to add Colundi Level 3. Nothing mind-blowing but just beautiful bleepy perfection.

Thanks

I agree, but that ones from 2014 already! Enough colundi lushness in 2015 to fill the list with though :)

AE_LIVE. Though I guess it's technically more of an anthology.

To keep it real and analog, I'm gonna start posting to WATMM by writing my posts in fountain pen on hemp paper, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean.

Hah, I'm always a bit behind with yearly lists. I spend a lot of time revisiting the past tbh. I double checked Four Tet Morning/Evening as I'm sure that was 2014...

Annabel (lee) - 'By the Sea... and Other Solitary Places'

Whoa, this is awesome! But I don't understand what I'm hearing... who is the singer? Where did the music come from? Is this a collage of old music brought seamlessly together, or a really good recreation? So many questions. I know it has something to do with Ninjatune, but nothing beyond that.

OPN -Garden of Delete

Arca _mutant

I can't wait to read the Boomkat end of year album list which annually proves to me what a complete doughnut I am and how pathetic my taste in music is.

Surprised nobody's mentioned (unless I missed them):

How did I sleep on that BADBADNOTGOOD + Ghostface Killah album for a whole year. WTF.

And of course

The soundcloud dumps from Mike and Rich, plus AE_LIVE. So much good music this year it was redonkulous.

백호야~~~항상에 사랑할거예요.나의 아들.

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.

Guest bitroast

listened to kendrick few times. not for me. ( could go into long rant about how i found the " story" and concept of the album too heavy handed and interrupted the flow of the music). etc. etc. etc.

i mean, i like it. but i dont love it. not for bit.
