TV Series Recommendations

I just finished watching the X-Files, I enjoyed it but would recommend only watching the first 5 or 6 seasons. Skip the rest, especially season 9.

the big bang theory is alright

the last show i watched from begining to end was Twin Peaks.

now slowly watching the Twilight Zone which is pretty incredible for it's time.

correct

currently rewatching the sopranos from the start and it hasn't aged at all. season 1 is still some of the best TV ever made.

Whoa Eerie. It's been a long time. The Sopranos and Six Feet Under are both very badass awesome. The Shield is good. For comedy Flight of the Conchords wasn't bad either.

How has this whole thread not mentioned Weeds?

i got midway through the fourth season of 'six feet under' and had to stop. the whole thing just started to feel so horribly contrived and ridiculous. thats not to say there wasnt some good episodes in there but it seemed to turn into a bunch of manipulative, goofy bullshit.

btw i retract 'lost' from my original list.

I'm all caught up on Weeds, it took a turn I wasn't expecting and I don't know where it will go. But if there is a new season, I will watch it when I can.

I don't watch much actual TV, I mainly watch series through netflix or something. If I watch TV, I mainly watch the science channel or discovery channel, I watch survival shows similar to Survivorman which is one of my favorites. I love futurama of course and watch new episodes of that for sure. I've watched obsessed a few times, as OCD is something I can relate to.
