"For clarification to our attendees:

- Registration secures your ability to experience the Björk Digital exhibition. However, it is not the only way to see it. There will be a wait line for attendees. Registration merely allows you to avoid the line.

- Those who have not registered will still have the ability to get in line to see the Björk Digital exhibition.

you had to try the same timeslot multiple times to get through. that's what worked for me.

 

also, y'all are being so negative already 

VR device advice - please make sure that the demo units get cleaned before you use them.

 

Also, some of the Bjork VR stuff was built on our tech, Unreal Engine : )

At least they cleared things up, I've seen much bigger festival SNAFUS with non-apologies issued instead of actual customer service.

It's just a bummer they spring this extra registration on us a week before the festival, I'm up at 8am to reserve a spot, and because of a website glitch my friends and I are likely to miss out on some cool stuff by one of the headlining artists. I'm still excited as fuck, but that shit was not pleasant.

Tbh i feel like they misplanned the bjork thing and we'll probably have no issue getting in through this "standby line". I mostly just wanna hear her set

 

What else does everyone care about? Currently for me it's aphex, squarepusher, sophie, arca, tobacco, sophie, thundercat, windows 98, tycho, oneohtrix, john carpenter (but prolly not cause of overlap), survive, blood orange. Feel like i should wander the unfamiliar ones too

I think the schedule worked out great. You just can't have it all. Also have to work in the visual artists performances.

Any psych-rock/funk heads going to this should def check out UMO on Sunday. One of my favourite bands from recent years.

Yeah, so apparently people are getting infections from VR sets at conventions and things. They should have alcohol spray/wipes on hand, but if they don't I mind just bring my own.
