Descended from sunny skies into Mordor basically. I've never experienced anything like that. Was a bit terrifying. I told my Uber driver Fahad to crank the bhangra and I left the trauma behind.

George Bush Airport was surprisingly isolated! No train lines and the bus lines were going to take hours at the time I arrived so uber or cab is really the only recourse.
