It is funny how everyone around Trump is dropping like flies...except Trump. There's a very good chance nothing will happen to Trump while he's in office. I wouldn't be surprised if he just drops out of public eye after his presidency. Well, especially if he has early dementia.

I know very intelligent conservatives into indie music or bands like Radiohead. Though it seems to stop at that level when it comes to music. At most I've seen conservatives into dubstep... then again I know a libertarian who really likes some Effects Twin stuff... he was the one who showed me Vordhosbn which got me into Aphlax. He was a big Ron Pauler when he was famous.

Though I've also noticed conservatives also tend to be more er... analytically intelligent and not necessarily as creatively intelligent. I know a few conservative engineers who basically aced university.

I've noticed libertarians tend to be more creative than your average home grown conservative but I think that's because a libertarian is kind of a fish out of water/ going against the flow. I think those types tend to be more creative, and not necessarily liberal, but rather creative types having less mainstream views.

having been forced to listen to the music my whole life I will say 100% of pop country is horrid garbage. That said I like some of stuff by Johnny Cash and various older artists who don't play with a band, but rather just their guitar and voice. It seems that when country artists play with a band it's boring AF but I can dig an artist if it's just a voice and guitar.

Missed Trump in Hanoi by a few days. I'm in central Vietnam now.

Previously I landed almost at the same time in Malawi as Melania and I didn't know she was there. I was on the runway just thinking why the fuck is the Air Force One here?

I'm starting to feel I'm being stalked by the Trump family..

I love and miss Vietnam very much, hope to return in the coming years. Amazing street food, Bia Hoi... etc. ugh

Although I agree his will probly not be impeached, or at least convicted in the Senate, there is no fucking way the Southern District of New York is gonna let this family off the hook. They will RICO the fuck out of them, Don, Don Jr, and Jared better be waking the Hell up. January 21, 2021 will be open season on the Trump crime family.

Positive Metal Attitude

So the media here is making a big deal out of Cohen talking at the house of representatives later today. IS it actually a big deal and could this lead to anything useful or is the media just blowing it out of proportions which then results in a wet fart?

I just read the entire script. It's some good stuff but we've heard most of it before. I just hope the actual evidence he brings to the table is what will make the ground under Mr. Cheeto shake.

It’s not illegal to be a conservative. Cohen’s trying to save his own arse. Trump said Hillary for prison so he can’t act all shocked when dems try to put him in prison.

It's time for a GOPocalypse. Not in the sense of total destruction, but in the sense that Republicans will need a major overhaul of their party's platform in order to redeem themselves once Trump is out of the picture. They'll need to ditch their bigoted, greedy, xenophobic, belligerent bullshit and their pandering to evangelicals and white nationalists, and return to a more altruistic platform like they had under T. Roosevelt. That's the only way I can see them surviving as a party in the long run.

Then again, that may be asking too much.

I wonder if conservatives will eventually 'disown' Trump like they kinda did with Bush after their presidencies, or if they'll talk about Trump like Reagan.

I'm leaning toward wet fart. Unless Cohen produces some undeniable pieces of evidence that show cheese man committing a crime, then this is more of the same hoopla that CNN anchors salivate over, but wrap up the night by moving on after chanting over and over "but trump is a really bad guy."

The meeting is all set

it's funny how cohen says trump characterized his son as having "the worst judgement of anyone" and that he wouldn't let him set any kind of important meeting on his own.

also, some of the questions he said he couldn't talk abotu are because those are related to investigations by the NY prosecutors so he can't reveal that kind of thing.. so not answering it today essentially means he answered them for those prosecutors.

Willie Nelson played with a band plenty, and he wrote some great country music. A lot of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and young is bordering on country, and I could listen to that any day of the week. I will agree that all this country-pop-hop is fucking bullshit though.

How is Cohen going to save his own ass? His sentence has already been set. If he lies in front of Congress, he's going to jail for longer. Republican questioning has been just turgid dogshit material.

백호야~~~항상에 사랑할거예요.나의 아들.

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.

Please note that the public republican questioning is catered toward a very specific crowd. Namely, crybaby in chief 1. So please don't get your boxers stuck between your butt-cheeks about their annoying comments in public hearings. It's something you should expect. And, I'd argue, it's also not necessarily a true reflection of what is actually taking place behind closed doors. Or rather, it's highly likely there won't be as much smoke and mirrors, aka political nonsense, in the closed doors settings. You never know, of course. But also note Schiff is on record about the discrepancy between private conversations with his GOP colleagues vs. their public comments.

Which was also clearly visible in the "national emergency" debate. As GOP basically are continually doing backflips in supporting Trump while initially saying a national emergency was not the solution.

So, yes. GOP is annoying. But please consider they're possibly even more annoyed about this ordeal than you are! (for similar reasons)
