I saw a clip where Joe Rogan casually asked about JBP’s idea of mandated monogamy. He wasn’t even trying to make him look stupid, merely pointing out that if that was a rule, then equality of outcome would’ve something JBP actually does encourage. It was the most innocent, sincere pwn I’ve seen and it made me kinda like Joe Rogan tbh

hopefully they will get some shit done, and they may, but people cannot bank on mueller or the house cleaning the place up. one of the best ways to remove a president from office is with an election. the criminal justice system lets guilty people go all the time, because criminal justice has inherent limitations. 

 

the most significant thing cohen said during his public testimony 2 weeks ago was this:

 

"given my experience working for Mr. Trump, I fear that if he loses the election in 2020 that there will never be a peaceful transition of power, and this is why I agreed to appear before you today."

 

not only do we need to be ready to beat trump, its looking like - apparently - we need to make sure he is destroyed so clearly that he will not attempt to overthrow US democracy :(

It's pretty much up to the voters, imo. Mueller is not the messiah (and will most likely not indict the president, and put potential cases to districts like sdny). And House Dems can act only with the tools they have available.

 

Hard to see a scenario where the voters do not play a central role.

As long as the senate is in the turtleman's and GOP's control, nothing of value will get passed. The senate will probably stay in their hands for years to come, because of gerrymandering and other dumb shit. Abolish the senate.
