capitalism is great, it results in people being compelled to work really hard at doing things that are bad for humanity because there's profit involved, and then making excuses for both themselves and others because it's "just their job" and they're "just trying to make it"

the alternatives result in people being compelled to work really hard at doing things that are bad for humanity because they're controlled by human beings who are generally terrible at doing things that are good for humanity, due to the inherent hubris and greed of human beings, in fact it's generally worse to let them have too much control, which is why capitalism is generally far less harmful.

idk I'm not married to capitalism at all, if the transition to socialism or some other system succeeds someday somewhere and actually leads to a better society then I'm all for it

I just read it and kept thinking there's no way the Ukranian president would suck up to trump that much.

Well I don't dislike capitalism, just when expensive needs like medical care/college/etc. are based on capitalism. Throws a bunch of people under the bus and creates a bunch of debt slaves. However capitalism works very well whenever need based things are taken out of the equation. The price of things become based on how much people are willing to pay for something vs how much a company can jack up the price of epipens before they're called out.

Basically, If you jack up the price of a television, no one will buy it. If you jack up the price of epipens, well too bad you need it.

you said 'read it once' as if i'd never read and heard him espouse his viewpoints (most of which i agree with btw). i'd previously demonstrated that i'm at least passingly familiar with his views, hence my mocking your suggestion that i had no clue what he's about. i look silly, yeah, but also i don't care, this is a silly music forum full of some silly people who say some silly things (as you know)

anyway explain to me in great detail with facts and examples exactly how i've gotten anything wrong regarding bernie's  personal gains from capitalism or his views on anything, please....including the wealth of examples of him hating capitalism which i've not yet seen. i'll be holding my breath waiting
