hey guys, it's ja rule. i'm sorry to say that 2018's fyre festival is cancelled. we had no idea when we booked it that we were sharing the island with an experimental maximum security prison. when we dropped festival goers off by helicopter in a field in the center of the island, we had no idea they would be hunted by the inmates who have formed multiple dueling tribes who live in a state of constant warfare in a kind of post apocalyptic penal society. when we equipped our festival goers with explosive tracking devices fitted around their necks, we had no idea they would wander beyond the perimeter, setting off said devices. we are working with festival organizers to make fyre festival 2019 the best it can be. that's why the president is getting involved. next year festival goers will travel to recently evacuated manhattan island to retrieve the president's daughter. if you did manage to survive this year's, you'll be held in a cell until next year so you can participate. it's on us. we're working 24/7 to make this right.

what I don't understand is that they actually *tried* to have food, tents, a concierge etc. but even if everything ran smoothly with flights and luggage, surely the attendees would be horribly dissatisfied with absolutely everything else. why even build all those tents and that hilarious concierge "desk" in the first place? why not just realize you're grossly unprepared and pack it in before people actually arrive and shit hits the fan? did they just close their eyes and hope that things would magically work out with disaster tents and cheese slices? I never even saw a pic of any sort of soundstage of any kind. I mean who would have thought a shitty rapper with no career and a 25 yr old bro piece of shit bucknell dropout would be so completely delusional and fail this hard?? lol

Apparently, some of the fashionistas that were promoting this on Instagram were there to greet the first arrivals off the plane, by filling their mouths with champagne and prancing about for a bit, before promptly fucking off when the shit hit the fan.
