It's great to hear proper versions of big boots and lift. They really could've fucked them up from their early versions (like they did with nude and true love waits, imho), but they didn't, they sound great, in my opinion. Haven't had a chance to listen to the remasters yet, but I'm looking forward to that, as well as the artwork and other stuff in the big bundle. I kind of stopped paying attention around in rainbows, and it seems I need to get up to speed on the b-sides. Anyone for favorite radiohead b-side?? I kind of prefer the old stuff like coke babies, banana co, how can you be sure... Cuttooth... or Pearly. Or Polyethylene. Tough one. "Plastic bag Middle-class Polyethylene" Love that simplicity. EdamAnchorman
Wow, I hope the version of nude is closer to what they were playing live back in the late 90's. I lived off shitty live recordings of that track for so long. Also, I think it's amazing that everyone has a different favorite b-side. Shows how good they all are. Guest
It's on Spotify. I like the Man of War. OK Computer is for me where Radiohead starts. Mostly listen to Karma, Paranoid, Exit Music... Anyone knowing what they did about remastering? Typical stuff, overcompressing? Or tuings to the stereo image? Most often "Remaster" meant making it worse, because there seem to be way too many shitty mastering engineers out there. I don't care about ancient technology like cassettes or vinyl. BTW. Ae. On Elseq tracks have no room to breath and according to the waveforms, the whole thing is just too crowded until 0db. wat Edited July 14, 2017 by Guest Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/93193-radiohead-oknotok/page/4/#findComment-2561802 Share on other sites
