No clue tbh. I’d prefer work in a similar vein to syro/collapse etc though. Would be cool if he got back into complex beats ala drukqs though. I’ll take anything

mini live set from printworks and warehouse project 2019 seems like something. curious what it ends up like. started as an 11 min post-syro jazzy piece, at printworks. then, 6 days later, it's a 22 minute space rave epic.

It seems like wherever there is Aphex, there is also graffiti.

So, what is this, fuck all for years, and then new Autechre and new Aphex at the same time? It's like TV back in the day, nothing on all year round, and then every channel would drop all the awesomeness on you simultaneously on Christmas.

I think there’s like a 10% chance we get new tunes. It’s almost certainly just the new piece of gear. Unfortunately.

I'm not so sure of that. The posters are too reminiscent of the Collapse campaign. They would know that that raises expectations, wouldn"t they? And it's always bad to deceive expectations, especially those of rabid Aphex fans. So yeah, I guess I belong to the hopeful "we'll get one or two tunes with it, maybe an EP's worth" school. Might be digital only or something, so Warp wouldn't even necessarily have to be involved.

But honestly, I'll buy anything as long as it's got the Aphex logo on it, and if it's hardware, so be it. Maybe this is my true calling. Is the prodoction tops thread still gone?
