New countdown, new release? [Aphex Twin Warp Store]

Can anyone verify for me if the "new" version of T16.5 MADMA with nastya (notice the "+5.2" has been removed) is indeed a new mastering? Or just a slight tweak to the track name?

I don't know about mastering differences, but the "+5.2" as been absent since at least as far back as 2019 (based on the Wayback Machine).

I think it got removed at the same time as the latest 4 bonus tracks were added (tracks #18 thru #21). I was wondering if anyone had access to both files and could compare their spectrals/fingerprints?

Dug up some ALAC files I'd converted from FLAC when I first downloaded the album back in 2017. That version of the track has the "+5.2" in the title, and a "Create Date" of 2017:07:23.

Compared that version to a recent FLAC without the "+5.2" and they have identical audio MD5s of 2185d93c6bb2256eeb438fd06dc69409.

i'm just glad people are still noticing stuff like this! i'm as keen as ever to hear about any changes to the aphex warp store, especially if there's a chance of new/alternative trax... rich plz

I would like to point out that there were 3 subtle changes between the 2017 version (with 17 tracks) and the 2019 version (with 21 tracks), besides the addition of the four bonus tracks:

1. The track order for songs 13, 14, and 15 were shuffled.
2. 15 seconds of silence were added to the end of "em2500 M253X" to simulate the ending of side A on the vinyl.
3. The "+5.2" was removed from "16.5 MADMA with nastya+5.2" (which we have now verified is only a change in the title, not the audio)
