Gotta disagree, I think it looks iconic. That rusted look isn't easily reproduceable, at least not through non-computer or ai generated methods. Don't fix what's not broken.

It's like they buffed up the original art and took a higher-quality photo, which I think is very fitting for a re-release.

Also, I tried checking, but the new one wouldn't be part of the Blackbox interactive images by chance, would it? I might just be misremembering.

yeah. i took an nme picture and rusted it, and it was published in computer arts magazine.

i sent it to rephlex and they gave me some sweatbands as a gift.

thats was done mid nineties and published a couple of years later,

I guess that with the repress of SAW 2, there's no hope of a new album this year ? Richard pls, Syro will be 10 in September ...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the SAW 2 repress a rare (if not first) event where an anniversary of an album actually makes something come about? Past few years, I've seen people hopeful that each anniversary will bring something new, but nothing ever comes of it. So I don't really see where the tendency to hope something will happen comes from, if the last 6-7 years are anything to go by.
