Weird list... didn't listen to much from this year:

Tear Garden - The Brown Acid Caveat

Slowdive - Slowdive

The Flaming Lips - Oczy Mlody

Surprised there's no love for Siriusmo's "Comic". I thought it was great!

I'd add Iglooghost - Neo Wax Bloom to my list but I can't get over the mixing/mastering. I get a headache after a few tracks.

Not much this year that really rocked my boat

Spongebob Squarewave - Pool Party was my absolute favorite and most played Album of 2017, goosebumps moments through and through and super positive happy vibes

Bogdan Raczynski - 4 Mixes - 1999-2015 was released this year and it is amazing (album?, EP?, compilation?, mix album?)

Best EP
Bullion - Blue Pedro

Anna Meredith - Nautilus, old song in a new format and most blow my mind moment of 2017

Joe - Tail Lift / MPH, just because I love Joe but only one of the tracks is a rocker for me

Good choice! Def on my list!

But i'm forced to add this one, cause this kills it for me this year.

war on drugs - a deeper understanding

broken social scene - hug of thunder

converge - the dusk in us

ben frost - the centre cannot hold

drake - more life

kendrick - damn

Definitely mentioning the Mogwai effort, that's pretty good imo

But the initial big buzz of a new LCD album seemed to fizzle out pretty fast, I didn't fall in love with it as much as I expected but that's the same with me and all their albums. Couple of great tracks and the rest? a bit forgettable

Death Peak was also a good effort

agree 100% about the LCD, but what it did do was make me revisit this is happening and realize that it is actually extremely good. i was put off at the time by the hipster hype and all the normies playing dance yrself clean at every single party.

Others:

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN

AFX - London Field Day LP

Lada Laika - Summit Avenue Tracks

Dollarstore Keyboard - I've Been Nostalgic Since the Day I Was Born
