Spongebob Squarewave - Pool Party was my absolute favorite and most played Album of 2017, goosebumps moments through and through and super positive happy vibes

Bogdan Raczynski - 4 Mixes - 1999​-​2015 was released this year and it is amazing (album?, EP?, compilation?, mix album?)

Anna Meredith - Nautilus, old song in a new format and most blow my mind moment of 2017

Joe - Tail Lift / MPH, just because I love Joe but only one of the tracks is a rocker for me

Definitely mentioning the Mogwai effort, that's pretty good imo

But the initial big buzz of a new LCD album seemed to fizzle out pretty fast, I didn't fall in love with it as much as I expected but that's the same with me and all their albums. Couple of great tracks and the rest? a bit forgettable

Death Peak was also a good effort

agree 100% about the LCD, but what it did do was make me revisit this is happening and realize that it is actually extremely good. i was put off at the time by the hipster hype and all the normies playing dance yrself clean at every single party.

Forgot about new Mogwai.. loved it at 1st but not returned to it much for some reason,think am due a re-listen!
