It’s amazing that people still care after all these years without them even doing anything

I love that there are so many people in this thread always saying shit like this. I feel like it makes up half of the posts in here by now which means they are contributing to the continuation of this thread.

Old albums incoming

Just making a box set from old LPs would be quite likely at this point. I don’t see them going into the same direction autechre did so it’s more likely we see their version of selected ambient works with 2 extra tracks and a nicer packaging. They could totally pull that off and people would still buy the shit out of it. I can also see people interpreting this as a big sign of a new lp on the way which then never comes and the 2 tracks is all you get

Maybe they just don't care anymore.

Tomorrow's Harvest is his last album and I enjoyed it a lot, it was released 11 years ago and my favorites are Come To Dust, Split the Infities or Reach for the dead. But obviously I like their entire discography. The bros released several very top remixes like Sisters with our colleague odd nosdam.

They even could release their material completely anonymously and we wouldn't notice, the internet today (and physical reality) is an ocean in which some famous producers may still like to play some tunes, trying to free themselves from the tentacles of their company, perhaps, so it doesn't matter. The most likely option is that they have retired because they already have families and various personal affairs and making music is no longer their priority but who knows, BoC are pretty low key and I respect that.

As we have got older, and highly likely less give a fuck if they do something or they don't, and they have gotten older and maybe don't give a fuck if they do something or they don't. I seriously doubt, they would let the main fanbase froth at the gills for years on end in purgatory without saying 'hey friendly strangers, we are done'. They would not do that, they know their fans are like hungry baboons in a safari park, who haven't been fed for a few weeks, so I think they would let us know FROM THE POWERS THAT BE, it's over punk. They will join us soon. At the Altar Of Sacrifice!!!

SOON YOU WILL MEET THE UNDEAD!!!

I think the opposite. If they said they were done, one of their superfanz would Mark David Chapman their asses.

By leaving it open ended, they're just increasing the mystery.

I don't really want another thing from them. TH was so disappointing (after eight years waiting), all they could manage was the same old tropes with some John Carpenter and Mark Isham thrown in for good measure. Old Wine In New Bottles.

deranged take lol

I thought everyone knew they've been releasing stuff on the sly the whole time under different pseudonyms, each time they do it their official Insta account posts an old track, is this not common knowledge?

If you know you know 🤫

lol right? might be the craziest thing i’ve heard in this thread full of lunacy

TH rules

gonna go out on a limb and say it is their best record. my personal fave will always be MHTRTC but I think TH is such a beautiful, sophisticated album. the song writing is incredible, production is stunning, it’s awesome in every way.

also: if it sucked, I’d still want a new album in case it didn’t suck as well? idk man fumi trippin

Maybe they just stopped tripping that often

Did you try listening to it on shrooms or acid or during mdma afterglow?

Stockholm Syndrome Mr fumi

It's a great album. You know anything else on Warp that sounds like TH? It's totally unique for Warp and is a perfect addition to the BOC back catalogue.
