Sounds good so far! Even the Orbital remix (after their laughable last album). I'll definitely be getting this.

I've not listened to any of it, waiting to hear the complete piece tomorrow. It is always a special day when Plaid release something new.

Has anyone received a shipment notification yet?  I ordered the vinyl the morning preorders went up, but it still says it hasn't shipped even though release day's tomorrow.

Well done. I've not done this with a new album for a long time!

I couldn't help myself from listening to songs from The Digging Remedy prior to the release date. I vowed to never do so again, and have stuck to it. On a side note, anyone able to attend the Plaid show with Christ. this Saturday -  I implore you to do so. I saw Plaid live in Cleveland (2002 w/Nobukazu Takemura and Mira Calix) and it was stunning. Christ. too, is one of my favorite artists - criminally overlooked indeed.

It’s like Ed and Andy got angry. Impeccable production and lush, varied sounds and textures.

An ever-pulsating beast of an album.

AOTY material fo sho. On first listen.

Listened through Fii0 K1 DAC and Bose headphones. The low end on the whole thing just beats, smacks, and is unrelenting. The trademark sparkling melodies are there, as always.

I have a feeling this is going to be a good one. Reachy Prints and The Digging Remedy IMO were both amazing, the former a contender for my fav album of theirs ever.

For whatever reason though I'm very excited for Polymer. Maybe my recent seizure flol.

Can't wait to hear it in full tmrw.
