Oversteps is great, Move of Ten is okay. don't trust anyone who doesn't get Oversteps.  it's just elseq that sucks.

anyway: rotating featured labels/artists/EKTers, curated by some rotating cast of WATMMers with diverse taste, implemented by some kind mod with a few extra minutes every month or two could really be interesting and keep the forum fresh. 

Well, I posted in YLC to test if watmm really is dying, we will see how it goes...

Hoping for lots of praise and shock at my prowess with little to no engagement on my part in other YLC threads or my thread itself.

@andihow & other fundamentalist The Clique Ladettes patented one too, but the developers couldn't extract all the congealed posts, board members & subjects they identified as desirably spirable from it. Terrible news for the spiralizing community, unless yer actually Spiral Tribe, in which case game on.

I can also say that every time a forum starts having meta-discussions on the level of the health of the forum it almost never bodes well.  forum engagement is dynamic and created by free will.  One forum I was on had campaigns to try and recruit more people from the place they started, but it didn't work and that forum now hasn't had a reply for over a year.  will watmm head that way?  who knows, maybe it can turn around

It's a shame because I vastly prefer this medium. Other social media is all over the place, forums resemble real life in the sense that you take the time to absorb the content. Things don't go too fast.
