don't care for Damogen either. Again, doesn't feel like an album at all. Feels like a bunch of tracks he chucked together. The fact that the order is reversed on the LP kinda gives evidence for that.

Lets give it up for the fantastic Hitsonu track.. i fucking love this tune a LOT  - very "Numbers Lucent" compared to the rest of the album.

Its the clapps for the last section, the driving medlody and squelchy percussion,,, the supermario noises and playful jaunty narative.. Reallyt love the end as well as the melody breaks down  - quite emotional. Perfect little track

I need to express my love for Detroit People Mover again. It became my most favourite ambient track for all times. Random comments.

a) 1 [] DPM, 2 Ae Vletrmx21, 3 mu Strawberry Fields Hotel, 4 rdj Cliffs

b) 3:13, theme repeats: it makes me sing and air conduct, like it's an equivalent of an orchestral climax

c) Maybe deserves vocals and an orchestra

d) The tears cannot be held

e) Love the video

It's no surprise, rather my experience, once again the simple, traditional stuff makes the biggest impression, not the cutting edge crazy weird music. I could also mention the underwater torch here. Or, "Do you know Squarepusher" song, had so much fun with it, it's a classic dancefloor banger.

Eternally thankful for TJs output.

the 'special squarepusher track' thread made me revisit this album today, I was definitely not listening closely enough when it came out, such rawness

I still think this is his best album of all releases since Go Plastic (the last one I truly loved.) Maybe it sounds shallow, but this is because this album and that one *sound* so meaty. All the others have tracks and ideas that are amazing, especially Ultravisitor, but almost all of them just sound weird to me, especially after other music. Those two Squarepusher albums are stunners in every angle though.

fwiw i probably like this more than Dostrotime which was cool but i have Not felt like coming back to all year lmfao, aside from a few "well i love sp and he just dropped a new album this year lets give it another go!" listens

im not entirely sure why either tbh Dostrotime absolutely has a few bangers

remembers existence of Holorform OHHHHHHHHH right.

but lol anyways yeah BUAH is great and is up there with like Hello Everything for me, extremely enjoyable front to back
