yeah this. I agree.  could be frustrating for people having to wear a mask to see people wich don't. it's not helping.

(actually here, we  all still have to wear it, being vaxxed is not a reason not to wear a mask actually, am I wrong ? coz seems like vaxxed could still spread some virus around, in some cases, i.i.r.c.)

that said, I admit we get rid of the mask with some very very close friends when we gather each other in particular context (still rarely), thinking "as we've been taking extreme care outside of our own circle, we have confiance in each other not being infected so we think it's safe loosing out a bit about that" yet we keep distancing and not sharing stuff like dishes, glasses, etc.

this + regular testings , but I admit it's not a 100% valid safe behaviour. we try do do our best about this, I would say.

that's not what my eyes have seen, and i've been moving quite a bit in the past few months. the figures look encouraging though and that's all that matters.

Would you care to elaborate on that, what are they doing? This is a serious question, I would like to understand what you're talking about - I know Tories are British conservatives, but I'm not following the UK that closely.

There is a security camera on my street (which ONLY has houses on it). Various bills are being pushed through to restrict protests too.

security camera on your street will be all your local council and nothing to do with central government. labour are traditionally much more "big government" and nanny state proponents, and implemented much of what now comprises the surveillance status quo - remember the ID cards thing they wanted to bring in too?

so this is certainly not a tory-specific issue, but I feel any administration would be now enacting stricter surveillance, curbs on freedoms we used to take for granted and campaigns of fear. this is the new world we are living in, this is the great reset that all mainstream political movements have signed up to. doesn't matter who you vote for, left, right, centre - it's ALL a total fucking sham.

I know that UK has the largest number of CCTV cameras anywhere, and I just read today about EU citizens getting locked up and expelled. I have a couple of Finnish friends living in London, and they've been harassed because they're not British. The Brexit fallout's been weird, and COVID-19 on top of that, it's probably quite a mess over there.
