Lol it's fun to compare ae releases with aphex releases

Seems to be now added to the afx store

How unexciting , at least put the digis from the festival vinyls in the store

All these unreleased bangers he played at the fests and we get this

I must agree that SAWII is kind of overrated (not bad, with amazing tracks, but as an album is just okay), and the latest output, despite being musically wonderful as always, I felt it lacked _soul_, lacked _pain, which in Drukqs is notorious.

usually we all here tend to ID tracks pretty fucking fast and yeah some of them doesn't sound so much Aphex Twin all the time 

I really love this mellow jungle tune. I can imagine this one to be someone else's track tho maybe Squarepusher? He is the other one with super dope unreleased tracks!

And instead of releasing new LP releases deluxe versions of very old LPs. I see a pattern there. Maybe it’s his way of remembering his parents that passed away recently. From the timeline SAW II would fit the time he still lived with them

He did say that he did that bit live, but I don't think he was referring to the entire track. If you listen back to the two versions it's pretty clear that the basic patterns and structure are timed out the same, but there's a lot of heavy effects mixing and modulating on top of it, which I think is the "live bit" being discussed.

I don't think he laid claim to the underlying track completely there, but I'm inclined to think it's his because it would be really weird to have him say he did that bit live without being forward about how his noodling around was on top of someone else's work. Plus, the base track sounds like something he could make.
