Both. To completely mask off and gaslight every goddamn person who criticizes him and allies. It's already working. NYT, ADL, etc. can't even flat out say it was a Nazi salute. The nominee for the UN ambassador denied it in her confirmation and said such accusations were silly. Go to any comment section of a youtube video or social media post that's public and has a lot of views and you will be called brainwashed and ignorant for saying it was a Nazi salute. They will say "stop believing the mainstream media and leftists propaganda" because for them believing a ketamine addicted billionaire who hourly retweets and likes right-wing posts on twitter, a website he bought out of spite because a user used to post his public flight records, is a totally normal and reasonable stance. 

It's all money and power and to be 100% sure things will stay that way when more right-wing vigilantes start killing people in the streets, political rivals and critics start getting arrested or mysteriously disappear, thousands and thousands of more immigrants start getting rounded up in bigger and bigger camps, US troops start deploying to take over foreign ports and cities, corporate entities get ignore regulations and crush labor pushback, etc. "Your hysterical, you are overreacting, you hate America and our efforts to make it great again" 

It's going to be bleak AF. Please stay close to friends, family, neighbors. Focus on work and hobbies and music. Take it one day at a time. I hope I'm wrong but I'm almost certain it's going to be worse than 2016-2020 in every regard.

It's so weird that he of all people is the wealthiest human to ever live by a landslide.  He clearly must be remarkable in many ways to be that guy, yet there's nothing about him that would visibly indicate that.  The world is a strange confusing place.
